Visiting Dunaway Gardens
Our admission price is $10.00 per person for adults and $8.00 for children. Group tours for 20 or more guests are available by appointment. A self guided map is available for all guests at the check in desk located at the Dunaway Gardens cottage.

Photography
Dunaway Gardens provides an ideal backdrop for beautiful portraits and photographs. Casual photography for personal use is welcome. For high school senior and prom portraits there is a $10 per person fee. For all bridal and engagement photos for brides not booked with Dunaway Gardens there is a $250 fee.


For group photographs, the following rates apply:
Less than 10 people - $50 per hour
More than 10 people, but less than 25 - $100 per hour
More than 25 people - Request Rate


All photo shoots should be booked by appointment and held on Open Garden Days. Professional and commercial photographers must call 678-423-4050 to reserve photo shoots in advance.

Open Garden Days for 2010

  • Friday and Saturday hours are 10 AM until 4 PM
  • Sundays are noon until 4 PM

From Atlanta:

  • Take I-85 South
  • Past Hartsfield Airport, merge Right onto Exit 69 South Fulton Parkway (Spur 14) (stay in left lane for first two miles)
  • Go 20.7 miles
  • Then turn Left onto Campbellton Redwine Road (this road becomes Highway 70 at Coweta County line)
  • Go 7.1 miles
  • Turn Right just after the bridge into the stone and gated entranceway to Dunaway Gardens
  • If gate is closed, press call button.
  • Through entranceway bear Left to parking uphill.

Directions to Atlanta from Historic Dunaway Gardens

  • Take Left out of Dunaway Gardens
  • Go 7.1 miles, turn Right onto South Fulton Parkway,
  • Go 20.7 miles, Merge onto I-85 or I-285

From LaGrange/Columbus

  • Go I-85 North toward Atlanta
  • Take Exit # 47 in Newnan (Hwy 34/Shenandoah/Newnan/Peachtree City)
  • Turn Left onto West Highway 34 go 0.8 miles
  • Turn Right onto 34 Bypass (N. Farmers Ind. Blvd.) go 2.9 miles
  • Turn Right onto Highway 70 (Roscoe Road) go 5.8 miles
  • Turn left into the stone and gated entranceway to Dunaway Gardens
  • If gate is closed, press call button.
  • Through entranceway bear left to parking uphill.

From Carrollton, Georgia

  • Depart Carrollton, travel toward Newnan on GA 16/ US 27
  • After you go through Whitesburg, then Sargent (17+/- miles)
  • Turn Left onto Macedonia Road, go 3+ miles
  • Turn Left onto Roscoe Road/GA 70, go 2+miles,
  • Turn left into the stone and gated entranceway to Dunaway Gardens
  • If gate is closed, press call button.
  • Through entranceway bear left to parking uphill.

From Douglasville, Georgia

  • Travel distance is 24.6 miles or about 38 minutes
  • Head southwest on E Church St toward Courthouse Square E 0.1 mi
  • Turn right at Courthouse Square W 279 ft
  • Turn left at W Broad St/US-78 Continue to follow US-78 1.6 mi
  • Turn left at Bright Star Rd 3.4 mi
  • Slight right at GA-5 6.8 mi
  • Turn left at GA-166 0.4 mi
  • Turn right at Capps Ferry Rd 3.2 mi
  • Continue on S Fulton Pkwy 1.8 mi
  • Turn right at Campbellton Redwine Rd 4.4 mi
  • Continue on Roscoe Rd 1.6 mi

  • Fayetteville Road becomes Toombs Street at US hwy 29 in Palmetto, continue straight for 0.5 miles,
